Welcome to Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter of Las Vegas (DGLV)!
Who We Are
DGLV was offically founded in 1987, but became inactive in the late 90s. DGLV was re-chartered in July of 2008. Since that time, we have seen tremendous growth and are proud to represent more than 350 Delta Gammas of all ages and backgrounds here in the Las Vegas valley. We all share a love of Delta Gamma that extends beyond our collegiate days. While many things in life may change - career, marital status, and interests, Delta Gamma is always there, always accessible, and always a part of all of us. So, whether you are a long-time Las Vegas resident or are new to the area, reconnecting with your sorority will be fun and fulfilling. Join our chapter, meet new people, socialize, and have fun!
What We Do
The purpose of DGLV is to provide an opportunity for alumnae living in the Las Vegas area to continue the enriching experience provided through Delta Gamma. Membership in DGLV provides opportunities to:
- meet new women
- reconnect with old friends
- give back to the Las Vegas community
- raise funds for our Foundation of Sight Conservation and Aid to the Blind
- continuously support our Fraternity

Delta Gamma Mission Statement
Delta Gamma offers to women of all ages a rich heritage based on principles of personal integrity, personal responsibility and intellectual honesty. Its primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, and develop the finest qualities of character.
The objects of this Fraternity shall be to foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility and to develop in them the best qualities of character.
Delta Gamma's primary purpose is to create an environment for its members in which lasting friendships are established and in which members find the processes, the experiences and the disciplines that will stimulate clear thought. Its aim is to foster an atmosphere in which women will develop a deeper love and consideration for mankind, a more profound understanding of the purpose of life and a basic wisdom upon which to build their lives.
Delta Gamma's purpose is accomplished through planned collegiate and alumnae programs that provide intellectual motivation, the opportunity for graciousness in daily living, and community awareness which will enrich the lives of members and instill in them a respect for the enduring values to be gained from the Fraternity.

Dear Delta Gamma Sisters,
Spring has always been a time of rebirth and revitalization, and it's very evident that our local chapter has experienced a spirit of renewal in our own way these past few months. Our membership participation has expanded by leaps and bounds. Such stellar programming has been offered recently, and I would like to thank all of you who made it out to an event!
Through the doubling of fundraising efforts, we have also been able to increase the amount of donations to Delta Gamma Foundation, and have even taken on the task of financially supporting a collegiate chapter at Penn State University. We have also continued to grow our numbers of service hours through volunteer opportunities at Nevada Blind Children's Foundation. We have truly exemplified the motto "Do Good!"
Coming up in June, I have the privilege of attending Convention in Indianapolis, and am so proud to represent our incredible chapter. In years past, our group has been recognized for excellence in membership and programming, and we hope to keep that tradition going!
I speak for all of our officers when I say that we are so happy to know all of you, share in the bonds of friendships and service, and meet new faces at our events. I hope as you read through this newsletter you are inspired to take part in the many more opportunities occurring this spring and summer.
